Description:

The aim of the project is to create a certified Methodology for increasing the attractiveness of public transport. The methodology will reflect the requirements of different user groups, the latest trends, and technological possibilities in the selection of suitable measures, and will support further integration of public transport into a multimodal transport system in order to increase the share of public transport users, its sustainability, accessibility, and safety, while reducing negative environmental and social impacts of transportation. A database with innovative tools and best practices will be created, along with an online map mapping the implementation of the studied measures. Relevant research results will be further formulated into recommendations for adjustments to strategic and conceptual documents of government bodies and will be continuously published in professional literature.
