MEDOTA: Changes of transport behavior caused by Covid-19 and their impacts on society (no. TL04000094)
Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, 4. veřejná soutěž programu Éta ("Covid")
J. E. Purkyně University (coordinator)
The project aims to analyse short- and long-term changes in regular activities and transport behaviour due to the Covid-19 epidemic and their broader impacts - changes in shopping behaviour, leisure activities, commuting to work or study. Knowledge of these trends is crucial to guiding strategic development and formulating recommendations to promote sustainable urban mobility. The project will also bring knowledge about proven approaches to transport measures during the crisis caused by Covid-19 so that Czech cities can adequately prepare for another possible crisis and reflect this in their own transport planning documents. It will use research methods of economics, econometrics, sociology and geography.
