Mgr. Ondřej Šmíd

Ondřej Šmíd is a graduate of the Bachelor's program in Geography - Political Science at the Faculty of Science, UJEP, where he continued in the follow-up field of Geography. During his master's studies, he spent one semester on Erasmus in Estonia. He is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in the study program Geographies of Transformations. As a doctoral student and researcher at the Department of Geography at the University of J. E. Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem, he focuses on the issue of mobility in smaller cities.

Outside of the university, he works as a designer and technician of traffic signs, and also as a councilor focusing on strategic transportation planning.
