Mgr. Danuše Strnadová
Danuše Strnadová works as a researcher at the J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. She graduated from the Faculty of Science of the Masaryk University in Brno in Regional Geography and Regional Development. She has been involved in Czech and international research teams on sustainable transport since 2010. In 2014-2017, she coordinated the Czech version of the international Traffic Snake Game, aiming to promote children’s sustainable travel to school and active exercise. In 2018-2020, she was involved in the European Smart Commuting project, focused on promoting nature-friendly travel to work. She has also coordinated the project “Strategic Development of Hranice – Smart City”, and the development of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for the city of Hranice.
At present, she does research into transport innovations and their impacts on sustainable urban development. EN
