Ing. Mgr. Hana Brůhová Foltýnová, PhD.
Hana Brůhová Foltýnová works as a senior researcher at the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. She is concerned with sustainable urban mobility, above all economic and environmental impacts of transport regulation, sustainable transport policies and measures and their monitoring and evaluation, and active transport support.
She has coordinated or has been a member of international and national research teams in a range of research and policy-oriented projects funded by various European R&D projects, Czech national grant bodies, the CERGE-EI Foundation under a program of the Global Development Network and EU operation funds, among others. Hana is the author of the monograph ‘Transportation and the Society’ (published by Karolinum in 2009), and a range of scientific publications and promotion of research results.
